This brand new tour meets the Saltvík Comfort and the Diamond Circle somewhere in the middle. This tour is for everyone who‘d like to do more riding than 3 days, but at the same time would like to take it a little slower than the speed our herd usually picks up during the Diamond Circle. This tour will have small groups (max 8 participants) to start with this first summer.

Accommodation will be in our guesthouse, in double rooms with private facilities. Included will be 5 days of riding of which 2 full day rides with packed lunch (the other days we‘ll come back to the farm for lunch in between rides and/or sightseeing).

On the full day rides, we‘ll be crossing the river Laxá (100 meters wide)! During the rides we‘ll be able to take it easy, with good stretches of tölt alternated with relaxed bits of walk to suck up the beautiful surroundings.

Next to the riding there will be 2 half days of sightseeing by car. Visiting all the highlights of the north / the Diamond Circle: Goðafoss and Dettifoss waterfalls, Mývatn area with it‘s beautiful lava fields and Ásbyrgi canyon. 

Whale watching is optional for extra cost. A visit to GeoSea geothermal infinity pool is included in the tour.

There is no fixed day by day itinerary, as the set up of this tour makes it perfectly possible to go with the flow and let it depend on for example the weather what we do when.

The tour will start with a flight from Reykjavik downtown to Akureyri where we will pick you up with our private bus on the first day, and the flight back from Akureyri to Reykjavik will be on the last day at the end of the day.
